I was on staff at Nextbook and Tablet from 2008 to 2014, as the Assistant Art Director and then Art Director. I worked with editors, writers, photographers, illustrators, and audio and video producers on everything from developing concepts and image research to creating original illustrations for the daily online magazine. I also worked on a variety of special projects, including a front-end and back-end overhaul in 2009, and a newspaper supplement.
