I worked with Equity Advocates on illustrating and producing both print and digital materials for their campaign, Make the 2023 Farm Bill a Racial Justice Bill. For print, we created a one pager and set of postcards for writing to elected officials. We also made a social media campaign toolkit with Canva templates and “clip art,” and a fill-able PDF form version of the postcards to be used as part of online events. The illustrations show the breadth and the detail of the organizers’ vision of racial equity in the food system, from infrastructure to how bitter melons grow.
